Dr. Chuck Bell

Dr. Chuck has been practicing dentistry with his twin brother, Dr. Dave Bell, Jr., for over 30 years. But the twins began their interest in dentistry much earlier, thanks to their father, Dr. Dave Bell, Sr., who was also a dentist.

Dr. Chuck places a high priority on thoughtfully communicating with patients and prides himself on his ability to make every member of your family feel comfortable during treatment. He treats every patient like family!

To provide you with the best care possible, he has completed advanced training in many areas of dentistry, including:

Dr. Charles Bell on the Most Rewarding Part of Dentistry

Bell Dental Group is especially well known for our extensive experience with Invisalign. Dr. Chuck and our other dentists have completed more Invisalign procedures than any other general dentistry practice in the Cincinnati area! Bell Dental Group is also one of the few Cincinnati area general dental practices to be recognized as an Invisalign Premier Provider – an award rarely given to general dental practices.

Dr. Chuck uses his attention to detail and aesthetic skill level to create stunningly beautiful smiles. He also keeps up with the latest in the dental field through continuing education courses and membership in the following professional organizations:

Dr. Chuck is married and has three children. In his free time he enjoys traveling, triathlons, and an occasional round of golf.

Dr. Dave Bell, Jr.

Dr. Dave has been practicing dentistry alongside his twin brother, Dr. Chuck Bell, for more than 30 years. The two have been interested in dentistry from a young age thanks to their father, Dr. David Bell, Sr., who is a retired dentist. Dr. Dave and the rest of our dentists bring this family focus into their work and love treating patients like members of their own family.

Dr. Dave strives to help patients understand how important dental health is to their overall health and well-being. With the help of state-of-the-art technology, he is committed to delivering quality, comfortable treatments in all facets of dental care – from tooth-colored fillings to complex cosmetic dentistry makeovers.

He strives to improve his skills every day and keeps up with the latest techniques through continuing education courses. To stay ahead of the curve when it comes to advances in the dental field, Dr. Dave is a member of the following professional organizations:

Dr. Dave is married and has eight children. He and his wife adopted four of those children through international adoption. Outside the office, he enjoys coaching youth soccer and basketball.

Dr. Maggie Ernst

Dr. Maggie Ernst is the latest partner to join the Bell Dental Group team. A Cincinnati native – born and raised in Hyde Park as the youngest of four kids – she attended St. Mary Grade School and Saint Ursula Academy High School. Dr. Ernst then received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Dayton and graduated magna cum laude in 2010.

From there, Dr. Ernst went on to graduate from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2014. While at OSU, she was initiated into the elite Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society as one of the top graduates from her class. She graduated magna cum laude and earned several other honors, such as being on the Dean’s List for 11 of 12 semesters and receiving the Dr. Harold E. “Hal” and Faith B. Barlow Dental Scholarship in 2011.

Dr. Maggie Ernst on the most Rewarding Part of Dentistry

Dr. Ernst then completed a general practice residency at the Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Hospital in Hampton, VA from 2014 to 2015.

Always a fan of the sciences and working with her hands, Dr. Ernst loves that dentistry combines the two in a perfect way. Her patients recognize that she truly enjoys her job, and it makes them feel more at ease while in the chair. She genuinely enjoys taking your problem teeth and turning them into a beautiful smile.

Dr. Joyce Crowe

Dr. Joyce Crowe is the most recent addition to Bell Dental Group, joining as an associate dentist. An Ohio native, she grew up in the small town of Oak Harbor in northwest Ohio. After graduating magna cum laude with her Bachelors of Science in High School Math Education from Bowling Green State University, she moved to Houston to begin her teaching career. After a few years in the classroom and a lot of thought and consideration, she decided to return to school to become a dentist.

Dr. Joyce attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where she participated in several organizations and held various leadership positions. One of her favorite roles was acting as the co-chair of the dental school’s mentorship program. While at OSU, she had the opportunity to participate in an elective with pediatric dentistry to gain more experience providing dental care to children, as well as participating in Give Kids a Smile. She has also completed treatment and coursework to become Invisalign certified.

In joining Bell Dental Group, Dr. Joyce looks forward to working with a great team and learning from her colleagues. She is dedicated to continuing her education in order to always provide exceptional care to her patients, and keep up with the ever-changing world of dentistry.

Community has always been important to Dr. Joyce, and she is very excited to become a part of her community in Cincinnati. She looks forward to becoming involved with volunteer opportunities as well as further exploring the city with her husband. She and her husband have joined the Cincinnati Rowing Club through their Learn to Row program. They have two Australian Shepherds, Porter and Ethyl, and enjoy spending time with them hiking or playing at the dog park.
